In-Studio COVID-19 Safety Standards & Policies

The health and safety of our clients and instructors remains our top priority. We have outlined here the details of the precautionary measures we are taking to keep our studios clean and our community safe, and the policies we uphold to allow our studio to remain a safe environment for all.

THOROUGH CLEANING OF OUR STUDIO OCCURS BEFORE AND AFTER EVERY CLASS.

We thoroughly clean all surfaces, floors, barres, and equipment before and after every class with disinfectant. Deep cleaning of all shared spaces and surfaces occur daily. We are using a non-toxic, hospital grade disinfectant, Force of Nature. This product is on the EPA's list of Disinfectants for use against COVID-19. In addition to regularly cleaning our studio with disinfectant, each client has access to hand sanitizer and a bottle of Force of Nature spray for use at the barre. Hand soap is available in the restroom at all times. Read more about Force of Nature products on their website here

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED (NO WALK-IN CLIENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED).

Class sizes are strictly limited to 10 clients per class. To uphold these class size restrictions, all clients must be pre-registered through MindBody for in-studio classes at least two hours prior to class. Regretfully, no walk-in clients will be accepted for the time being. Cancellations must be made through MindBody at least 12 hours prior to class to avoid losing your class credit so that wait-listed clients can join.

STUDIO EQUIPMENT WILL BE SANITIZED BEFORE & AFTER EVERY CLASS.

Studio equipment will be available for use. If they prefer, clients can continue to bring their own equipment - mat, set of light weights (1-3 lb.), and bands. All studio equipment will be thoroughly sanitized before and after every class.

MASKS ARE OPTIONAL FOR *FULLY VACCINATED* CLIENTS & INSTRUCTORS.

Masks are no longer required for in-studio classes for fully vaccinated clients and instructors. Please note that you must have received your last vaccination at least 2 weeks prior in order to be considered "fully vaccinated." Of course, we encourage any vaccinated clients who are more comfortable wearing a mask during class to continue to do so. The CDC recommends that unvaccinated individuals continue to wear a mask for their own protection. In that light, we require all unvaccinated or partially vaccinated clients to wear a mask at all times during in-studio classes. We ask that all clients, vaccinated or otherwise, wear a mask as they are entering and leaving the studio. Vaccinated clients can remove their mask once they are situated at their spot at the barre.

CLIENTS & INSTRUCTORS MUST MONITOR THEIR HEALTH BEFORE ATTENDING CLASS.

If clients have any symptoms of COVID-19 as outlined by the CDC, they will not be permitted to attend class until they are no longer displaying symptoms for a 14 day period. Additionally, clients who have been exposed to others who display symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 are not permitted to attend classes for a period of 14 days. (Enjoy our Virtual or On Demand classes in the meantime!) Clients who cancel for reasons related to COVID-19 will not be subject to any late fees and will have their class credit returned. The same policies will be upheld for instructors.

OUR INSTRUCTING APPROACH HAS BEEN MODIFIED TO MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING.

We have modified our instructing approach for the time being to ensure proper distance between clients and instructor. No hands-on corrections will be given (verbal cueing only), and instructors will demonstrate exercises from an appropriate distance from clients. Additionally, while our Lavender Cool Down will remain as the calming, centering end to our class, we will be omitting the individual touch for the foreseeable future.

WE WILL INFORM CLIENTS IF THEY ATTEND CLASS WITH A CLIENT WHO TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19.

If you have attended a class and later test positive for COVID-19, we ask that you please inform us immediately. If a client or instructor who has attended a class is to test positive for COVID-19, we will inform all clients who have come into contact with that individual. Confidentiality of that individual will of course be upheld.

In addition to our own precautionary measures, we are sharing these reminders from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when around others, even if you do not feel sick.

  • Be alert for symptoms. Watch for fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of COVID-19.

Symptoms of COVID-19 include:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
